Learnt from Korean traditional courtyard space "sanggojae", programme are not confined in a single building, but spread out to various "Cottages" and let each of the activities engage with surrounding open spaces and people. Expandable and flexible spaces allows events in different scales to co-exist without compromising. As a new rural living style, "village in village" is a small network not just providing public facilities shared by the whole community, but most importantly motivating informal human interaction and social encountering in many invisible layers and dimensions.
