The site is located at South edge of the island of far west archipelagos in Finland. Since the site has the seasonally severe cold environment with strong wind and short time self-construction was required, simple stacking timber construction was adopted. This flexibility was also beneficial for incorporating existing bunker structurally. This box’s abstract sense of existence is contrasting and extracting the silence of beauty of nature in Uto.
